In 2001, I was listening to a CD by the Craig Douglas Band called "Until I Look Like You". Among its many gems was a song called Show Me Your Mercy, which I thought was one of the finest worship songs I had ever heard. I began to wonder how a song like that could find greater exposure in the Canadian Christian church and with fans of Christian music in general. I also wondered if there were more hidden treasures out there that could use the same opportunities. That question led to the creation of "Sea To Sea: Filled With Your Glory", a 2 CD compilation of some of the finest worship songs written by Canadians.      During our search, we received over 900 submissions from nearly every corner of the country, and from that narrowed the field down to 30 songs (with two bonus tracks). The great variety and quality of submissions was staggering to say the least and a real testimony of the wealth of talent in our country.      During the process we received music from both established artists and new faces. The resulting collection includes national figures like Brian Doerksen, Steve Bell and The Toronto Mass Choir along with up-and-comers like Sean Dayton, Greg Sczebel and Curtis Mulder. We were even so fortunate as to have Jon Buller record a brand new song just for "Sea To Sea". Our hope and desire is that these songs find a home in churches and home across the country and that we begin to nurture an atmosphere within Canada for Canadian songwriters and their craft.
