Multiple Grammy and Dove Award-winning recording artist John Schlitt will be part of the surprise when the 2012 Mom of the Year is honoured on Friday's episode of the Christian Broadcasting Network's (CBN) 700 Club Interactive, which airs at 9:30 a.m. E.T. daily on the ABC Family Channel.

Schlitt became involved in the special episode when the show's producers learned that the honouree, who will be announced on the show, is a huge fan of Schlitt and the seminal Christian rock band, Petra, for which Schlitt formerly was lead singer.

Schlitt's visit to the show's Virginia Beach, Virginia studios coincides with Street Week for Schlitt's new CD, The Greater Cause, which was released May 8th.

After airing on ABC Family, Friday's episode of 700 Club Interactive, hosted by Gordon Robertson and Terry Meeuwsen, will also be available for viewing online here.
