The Artist Development Seminar Series has been formed in response to the need for like-minded artists to congregate and learn tangible tools to help them be successful and grow in their music careers. The focus for 2007/2008 will highlight topics that will assist the artist in ‘Being Effective’. If you know of other artists that need this support, please pass this invitation along.
Chris Vacher has been involved in the Canadian music industry for the past 10 years and has seen all facets of the industry as a musician (Esoteric), manager (Hello Kelly), artist consultant, worship leader, tour promoter and is now on staff at Orangeville Baptist Church as the Director of Worship. Chris’ experience on all three sides of the stage (behind, on and in front) have been beneficial in helping other artists define and pursue their unique calling while also helping them to expand the scope and influence of their ministry.
This seminar will focus on the interaction between artists and the churches that are booking them for events and will help you to answer questions like:
Calling All Artists! Bring along your promo pack and Chris will choose a few to “evaluate” their effectiveness and explain what is helpful to him as a worship pastor when he books artists at church.
