Essential Records recording artist, Warren Barfield, will release his third studio album, Worth Fighting For, on May 20th. The 11-track project was produced by Charlie Peacock (Switchfoot, Nichole Nordeman), Mark A. Miller (Casting Crowns), Jason Ingram and Rusty Varenkamp (Bebo Norman, Rush of Fools).
“Love Is Not A Fight” is the initial single from the project, currently at AC Radio. Bob Thornton, Program Director of KXOJ in Tulsa, OK shares, ”’Love Is Not A Fight’ is going to save some marriages, at the very least. Not too many songs actually carry power, but this one is loaded.”
This past week, Barfield visited the NRB (National Religious Broadcasters) Convention held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort
& Convention Center in Nashville, TN. The NRB is an international association of Christian communicators with over 1,400 member organizations representing millions of viewers, listeners, and readers. The Association exists to represent the Christian broadcasters’ right to communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world.
Michael W. Smith, also stopped by to say hi, and perform some tunes for the attendees.
