Two Canadian Acts Lead New Artists Sales

Publish Date: Jun 09, 2005

With nearly one half of 2005 behind us, two Canadian artists lead sales for “new artists” according to sales at Christian retail outlets in Canada. Brampton’s Carried Away and Red Deer’s Gaetz Ave are neck in neck in sales figures for the year, out selling all other new artists.

Both of their debut releases landed in the marketplace in February. The two groups have been tirelessly touring the country opening for acts as diverse as downhere, Bryan Duncan and Avalon. As a matter fact the two groups will meet up this summer as the joint opening acts for Avalon (see concert listings).
