Brand new music from female-led rock band Fireflight debuted last Wednesday night on NBC with the band’s yet unreleased track Unbreakable selected to air in promotion for the network’s new NBC/Global hit show “Bionic Woman”. The promotional spots will run throughout the week. The high-impact new song is the title track for Fireflight’s forthcoming sophomore album releasing spring 2008.
Dove Award-nominated Krystal Meyers’ song, Make Some Noise, from her forthcoming album, is currently being used by ABC in promotion of its high-impact Sunday night line-up, which includes hit shows, CTV’s “Desperate Housewives”, Global’s “Brothers and Sisters” and “Extreme Home Makeover”.
Pillar at the Change Conference
ESPN used the new Pillar song,For the Love of the Game, during montages highlighting the 2007 World Series on its program, Baseball Tonight. For the Love of the Game is the title-track to Pillar’s February 26th, 2008 release, and has already claimed the “most added” title on the R&R Christian Rock chart despite the fact that its add date is November 16th. Pillar is currently on the SHOUTfest tour and recently performed at the Change Conference in Toronto.
