GRAMMY®-winning rock band Third Day released Volume Two of their two-volume series, Chronology, on August 7th to rave reviews. This instalment, celebrating the band’s past five years of success as a touring act, features several hits including live versions of the songs God Of Wonders and Cry Out To Jesus and a second disc containing a behind-the-scenes video documentary.
On the release of Chronology Volume Two, fans were given an opportunity to screen the documentary at an exclusive viewing with the band in a theatre in Atlanta. Invited to offer feedback, many shared rave reviews. “Any and every Third Day fan should see this! These guys are a true blessing! I’ve picked up several copies as gifts for friends,” said Johnny Harvey. “Very well done. It showed the heart of Third Day for God and how far they’ve come creatively, as a band,”added Janet Whitfield.
Reviewers concur. Kevan Breitinger of Crosswalk.com said, “Third Day is one band worthy of this level of artistic commitment, and fans can count on another rewarding experience here.” Todd Pearage, who reviewed the project for Interlinc, says “Third Day’s Chronology, Volume Two, is one of the most complete and fan-friendly greatest hits collections out there. Do you need them? ABSOLUTELY.”
The release of Chronology marks an important milestone for one of Christian music’s biggest acts. But the members of Third Day have no intentions of slowing down now. Having successfully unveiled both volumes of Chronology, Third Day is starting to compose the third act of its career. The band will play all the major festivals and fairs this summer and fall, and plans are already underway for the next studio project, scheduled for release in 2008.
