Joining the ranks of the Jonas Brothers and Sabrina Bryan of the Cheetah Girls, The Rubyz’ tracks “Outrageous” and “Staring at the Sun” will be featured on the air as well as interview clips with the girls. The Radio Disney network is available to 97% of the U.S. which includes over 50 terrestrial radio stations as well as XM and Sirius satellite radio, iTunes Radio Tuner, XM/DIRECT, mobile phones and even in Latin America.

Four additional songs, photos, daily blogs and quick facts will also be posted on the Radio Disney website which averages 40 million views a month.

“Being on Radio Disney is almost surreal. You hear about it all the time, but you would never imagine it could happen to you-let alone so quickly,” says oldest member Cammie. “I can’t wait to see what opportunities being a part of the incubator and Radio Disney will bring. It’s very exciting.”

Here to fill the industry age gap, The Rubyz released their iShine Record’s self-titled debut on April 1st. Comprised of Cammie Hall (17), Alexis Slifer (14) and Marissa Milele (13), The Rubyz’ debut record has been praised by everyone from Christianity Today to Girl’s Life magazine. Though their sound can be compared to the fresh chart-topping teen discs like High School Musical or Hannah Montana, their lyrics are sure to be grasped by tweens and teens alike. Whether it was taking dance, performing in their local school theatre or playing bass, drums & even piano, The Rubyz are your average girls who are making music about everything from acting their age to friendship. The band’s freshman project was produced by Chris Omartian (Hilary Duff, Pink, Jump5) and Executive Producer Joy Williams who claims she is “passionate about the Rubyz, and how this music could encourage girls everywhere.”

The Rubyz’s sel-titled album is available at Christian retailers across Canada. Find out more about The Rubyz on their YMZ artist page.
