Ted Dekker, New York Times best-selling author, has extended his commitment with long-time publishing partner Thomas Nelson, according to his manager, Dan Raines, President of Creative Trust. The non-exclusive arrangement will extend Thomas Nelson releases to early 2012 and will span multiple projects and genres.
Dekker, who recently signed a two book deal with Hachette Book Group USA to further expand his General Fiction audience, is widely known for his ability to pen gripping suspense novels across multiple genres.
According to Raines, the move is strategic for Dekker, who has sold more than three million books and continues to expand his audience with each release. “Having two of the most influential publishers working co-operatively to grow one of today’s most prolific writers benefits everyone, especially Ted Dekker readers,” Raines said.
Dekker’s novel Thr3e was adapted into a screenplay and is available on DVD at Canadian Christian retailers. Find out more about Dekker on Dekker’s YMZ artist page.
