Inpop Records pop/rock sensation, Superchic[k], will headline 30-plus dates on the “This Is Your Anthem” tour, named after the band’s hit song, Anthem, off their latest release Beauty From Pain.

The tour, which has already sold out in key markets, kicks off Jan. 27th in Cincinnati, Ohio, and features KJ-52, Seventh Day Slumber and eleventyseven. It will be making a stop in Winnipeg at Missionfest Manitoba on February 3rd. For more information about the event, visit the YMZ Concert Listings. Download a copy of the tour poster here. Superchic[k] heads into the highly anticipated tour with a blockbuster year under its belt, with a critically acclaimed album, Beauty From Pain, two No. 1 radio hits with Pure and We Live, sell-out tours, mainstream music and TV placement and major sponsorships with Gibson Guitars and Konami Digital Entertainment.

“Last year fans took Superchic[k] to well over 100,000 records in nine months and attended 200 shows in seven countries,” says Superchic[k]’s Max Hsu. “This year, fans should anticipate even more exciting things as we take our best shot at bringing the music to a broader audience,” he says.

“The first show that went on sale for this tour sold out 1,800 seats in just three weeks,” says Scott Huie, president of H2O Artist Agency and tour booking agent. “That’s a great sign for this line-up. From beginning to end, this concert is designed to be a musical mix of high impact and deep relevance for the concert attendee. The music will be rocking and the message will be good news!” he says.

Superchic[k] recently completed a fall tour with Audio Adrenaline and Pillar, as well as a European run with shows in Finland and Germany with audiences over 20,000.

The band garnered major market exposure late last year when “Anthem” was chosen as the theme song for MTV’s “Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Gauntlet,” which premiered in December. Additionally, Superchic[k]’s tune, It’s On is currently featured in NBC’s Winter Olympics promotional material airing through February. Other film credits of late include Stewart Little 3 and Disney’s The Ice Princess.

The interactive gaming industry also took notice of Superchic[k] in 2005, as the band was prominently featured in the new video game from Konami Digital Entertainment, “Steel Lancer Arena International (S.L.A.I.).” The game features Superchic[k] songs and icons, as well as partner logos from Gibson Guitars and Inpop Records.
