Time Life is happy to report that their latest Country retail project, Songs 4 Worship™: Country, remains a strong contender on the sales charts in the Country and Christian formats. The multi-artist CD, that released October 2nd, ranks on the Soundscan charts at #8 on the Christian Contemporary (CCM), #30 on Country, and #158 on the Top 200.
“We’re thrilled with the fan support for Songs 4 Worship™: Country,” says Mike Jason, Senior Vice President, Audio & Video Retail, Time Life. “The album sales remain consistent after six weeks and is not showing the normal sales trend of dropping 50% after the first week. In fact, sales have actually increased each week showing solid consumer demand.”
Songs For Worship™: Country is the first time that Country artists have recorded Praise & Worship songs and the CD features some of today’s top stars in the Country music industry such as Charlie Daniels, Rascal Flatts, Emerson Drive, Ricky Skaggs, Diamond Rio, and Oak Ridge Boys, to name a few. Besides Country and Christian fans enjoying this special project, the press has also given glowing kudos to the project.
