Recently we let you know that Grammy ®nominated rockers Skillet’s first single at Christian Rock radio was heating up, making the highest debut that week at No. 17 on R&R’s Christian rock chart and causing their fan message boards to go crazy. Since then, the song jumped to No. 14 the following week and now this week to No. 11, all in just a mere three weeks.
Last week the band filmed a music video for this single, as well as their upcoming single for mainstream Active Rock radio, Whispers in the Dark. In addition, Rebirthing is also heating up at Christian CHR radio, currently New and Active with 1/3rd of the CHR panel on board in just 3 weeks.
Skillet’s John & Korey Cooper take turns filming the video for Rebirthing
Hot on the heels of 2003’s best-seller Collide, which launched SKILLET into the mainstream with the hit single “Savior,” touring with Three Days Grace, Salvia, Shinedown, and 12 Stones, plus a nomination at the 47th Annual Grammy Awards, COMATOSE hits Canadian Christian stores on October 3rd, 2006.
Look for Skillet this fall on the Nov/Dec cover of HM, in the October and November issues of CCM, in the November/December issue of Christian Music Planet, and throughout the fall/early ‘07 in YouthWalk, Passage, Christian Retailing, Worship Leader, and much more.
