This week’s premieres feature two projects, one from a trio and another from a singer-songwriter from Stratford, ON, that are vocally superb.

The new album, from the GMA Music Award winning group Selah features the hit single, Bless The Broken Road, along with 11 other amazing duets with some of Christian music well-loved artists! Guest vocalists include Christy Nockels, Nichole Nordeman, BarlowGirl, Nicole C. Mullen, Kim Hill, Jill Phillips, Adam & Jason Crabb, Melodie Crittenden and introducing new group member Amy Perry.

Stratford’s Ali Matthews has been a performing songwriter since her teens and has built a strong following across Canada and beyond. Writing and performing on both piano and acoustic guitar, she blends mature and sensitive lyrics with evocative, compelling melodies. On stage, Matthews has teamed up with producer/guitar player, Rick Francis creating a slick acoustic duo with a captivating sound.

In 2004, her album Where You Remain received an impressive five nominations at the 2004 Canadian Gospel Music Association Covenant Awards, winning both Inspirational Album of the Year and Country/Bluegrass Song of the Year for her single, Hunger Mountain. In 2005, she took home top the Covenant Award for Seasonal Song of the Year category for the title track of her Christmas CD, On Angels’ Wings.
