This past week, Ohio-based rock band Sanctus Real entered a Nashville, Tennessee, studio and finish recording its third full-length album for Sparrow Records. The not-yet-titled follow-up to 2004’s massively acclaimed Fight The Tide is tentatively scheduled to release April 4th, 2006.

“I’m really excited for you all hear this record,” says Sanctus Real drummer Mark Graalman. “God has really done some serious work in our lives this past year… I hope it will minister to everyone as much as the process of writing and recording it has brought healing to us.”

Sanctus Real debuted in 2002 with Say It Loud and was named Best New Artist in the 2004 CCM magazine readers’ poll prior to the release of Fight The Tide. The latter disc has delivered a steady stream of radio hits, including the #1 favourite Everything About You, and exceptional media reviews.
