Remedy Drive Gears Up For a Big Summer

Publish Date: Mar 04, 2009

On the heels of three GMA Dove Award nominations including New Artist of the Year, Rock/Contemporary Album of the Year, and Short Form Video of the Year, Word Records’ rock newcomers Remedy Drive are excited to announce their summer tour plans.

Since the release of their debut album Daylight Is Coming, the band has had an impact on fans and promoters alike, garnering rave reviews and stops at over 20 of the nation’s biggest Christian music festivals:

  • “I am a big Remedy Drive fan. When I first saw them showcased at a function for the Christian Festival Association I knew that they had what it took to make it in this industry, talent and a heart to serve Christ.”
Chuck Tilley, Tilley & Associates/Atlanta Fest
  • “Remedy Drive has a style that really seemed to transcend what I was used to listening to. Their melodic, pop-rock style seems to suit them well and their lyrics are deep and full of the passion that they sing with. I am excited to have them at Creation 2009.”
Bill Darpino, Executive Producer, Creation Festivals
  • “I have known Remedy Drive for a number of years now and have watched them grow both musically and spiritually. The band ministers to not just the youth but across generations.”
Alan Greene, Founder/CEO of LifeLight Communications, Inc.

Additionally, the group’s Dove-nominated music video “Daylight” topped TVU’s “Top 30 Video’s of 2008”, while their newest radio single “All Along” is currently climbing up both the AC and CHR radio charts.

Daylight Is Coming is available at Christian retailers across Canada. For more information on Remedy Drive, please visit their YMZ artist page.
