March roars in ‘like a lion’ for Rebecca St. James, fresh on the heels of learning of her nomination by the Gospel Music Association as “Best Female Artist” in the 2007 Dove Awards.
March 20th will mark the official launch at retail by EMI/Forefront of St. James’ ‘first ever’ live in concert CD/DVD package, aLIVE In Florida, which will feature both her live concert filmed on the 2006 “If I Had One Chance To Tell You Something” tour, and a duo packaging of the live CD audio mixes from the same performance filmed in Fort Lauderdale. Additional bonus features of the packaging include behind the scenes footage and exclusive photos from the tour.
Included on the DVD is Beautiful Stranger. Written by St. James, the song was inspired by her work as a global voice for Compassion International, and is a dramatic highlight of her performances in concert.
Concerts will also abound in March as the Australian born Grammy® winner takes to the road on the 15th for the opening concert of the “Worship Revolution Tour.” The much anticipated international pairing of St. James with top UK Christian rock band, Delirious?, and new EMI worship artist, British singer/songwriter, Vicky Beeching, is expected to be one of the spring’s most successful and talked about live Christian events.
This past weekend, St. James appeared at Missionsfest Toronto and she will rejoin Delirious? at YC Alberta in May. Two Delirous? Canadian concert dates have been announced for Ontario also in May. Check out the YMZ concert listings for more details.
