The Highway FM Contemporary Christian Charts for week ending April 29th show Raylene Scarrott at #1 with her song Taken, the title track off her debut release. Highway Radio broadcasts through out the greater Durban area and has a listenership of approximately 350,000.
Last October, Taken also charted on the The Rock Across Australia (TRAA) Christian radio charts.
Taken won the 2004 Covenant Award winner for Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year. It was also nominated for a 2005 Juno Award for Contemporary Christian/Gospel Recording of the Year and a 2005 Western Canadian Music Awards (WCMA) for Outstanding Christian Recording.
