Paul Brandt Readying The Christmas Convoy For Operation Christmas Child

Publish Date: Sep 21, 2006

The invitation is out for Canadians to rally with Paul Brandt and his journey to collect gifts for Operation Christmas Child. This load of shoeboxes filled with gifts is being collected to be delivered to children in countries under the strain of war, disaster, famine, poverty, and disease.

In cities across Canada, Brandt will roll in with a gift-wrapped semi truck to load with gifts donated by Canadians. During each of his events, Paul will take the stage performing a few songs from his upcoming Christmas album entitled A Gift, which is set for release to Canadian Christian retailers on November 7th. He is excited to take the time to thank his fans for their support and will be signing autographs and talking with many of them after each of these performances. Paul Brandt is also delighted in the support of the media and is looking forward to thanking many in person. He will be available for interviews prior to hitting the stage and would love this opportunity.

Operation Christmas Child’s annual shoebox collection is kicking off another season of blessing children around the world. With gifts donated across Canada, the international Christian relief organization Samaritan’s Purse uses this program to bring joy to children who wouldn’t expect to receive a gift for Christmas. Collection sites are preparing to collect gifts until November 18th. These sites include Safeway stores in the Western Canada as well as various churches, schools and Christian retailers across the country. For information on all the tour stops, visit the YMZ concert listings.

On this tour, The Christmas Convoy, Paul Brandt will collect the first of the gifts and also bring further awareness for Operation Christmas Child. Paul looks forward to seeing you at these events across Canada.

The theme song of tour and other audio clips from Brandt’s upcoming Christmas album, A Gift can be heard on his YMZ artist page.
