Ocean’s Firing Signs to Floodgate Records

Floodgate Records is proud to announce the signing of Ocean’s Firing. Their high energy live show paired with great songs has made for a combination that has earned the Dallas-based band a large national fan base.

Ocean’s Firing just completed a tour around Texas with Jonezetta, and will continue to tour including an appearance at Cornerstone Festival, IL. Currently they are writing their full length album and plan to enter the studio in August for a release early in 2007.

“Ocean’s Firing put spirit and life back into music today,” states Josh Ragsdale, A&R at Floodgate Records. “They successfully blend the likes of Jimmy Eat World sing-a-long choruses to aggressive and passion filled chants ala Thrice and The Receiving End of Sirens. The journey begins in 2007, but 2006 seems to hold a bright future for Ocean’s Firing. We are extremely excited to welcome them to the ever growing Floodgate Roster.”
