Earlier this month, Natalie Grant’s album, Awaken, was certified Gold® by the RIAA® (Recording Industry Association of America) signifying sales of 500,000 units in the U.S. To celebrate this occasion, Curb Records threw a party in her honour and presented her with a gold album. Having been dropped by two record labels prior to signing with Curb, this is a huge milestone for the three-time reigning GMA Dove Award Female Vocalist of the Year. To put it in perspective, her label-mate Tim McGraw has only sold 200,000 copies of his last album. We were very honoured to join the families at this event.
