This week’s premieres include the debut from a cool chick singer-songwriter and the new album from a world-renowned worship leader.

San Diego-based Molly Jenson has stayed busy throughout the summer, playing with such artists as Greg Laswell and Cary Brothers. Jenson has frequented Los Angeles area hot spots like Hotel Café and The Gypsy Lounge.

Singing songs about everyday life and the ability to relate to the audience makes seeing Jenson a privilege. Jenson’s down-to-earth attitude is evident both on stage and in interviews. Being compared with artists like Priscilla Ahn and Ingrid Michaelson, Jenson is being hailed as a gifted singer/songwriter with a solid future ahead of her and her debut CD, Maybe Tomorrow is being heralded as a CD worth waiting for.

The latest release from platinum selling artist Don Moen features worship favourites “Mighty To Save” and “Saviour King” as well as several original new songs that are sure to be standards in the years to come.

This self-produced release highlights Don and a cast of singers and musicians with multiple musical styles – from the choral sound of “Hail To The King” to the Celtic-influenced “O God Of Abraham”, as well as the Gospel-infused “I’ll Say Yes”.
