In ceremonies held at UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion in front of 10,000 screaming fans this past Saturday, Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers took home Kid’s Choice Awards. Cyrus won for Favorite Female Singer and TV Actress while the The Jonas Brothers were named Favorite Music Group.

In her acceptance speech, Cyrus thanked her “Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ” for allowing her to get her music out there. She also performed an energetic version of her hit song “G.N.O. (Girl’s Night Out)”.

More than doubling last year’s record-breaking record, 88,254,272 million kids cast votes March 3-29 in 18 categories to honour their favourites. Votes were cast at Nickelodeon’s various web sites.
