Michael W. Smith’s third seasonal recording has topped the Canadian Christian music sales chart based on sales at retail stores across the country. It’s A Wonderful Christmas soars from #16 to #1 as the Christmas music season kicks into high gear.
Michael W. Smith is one of four new Christmas releases that populate the sales chart with Relient K moving up to #4 with Let It Snow Baby… Let it Reindeer, Josh Groban climbing to #6 with Noël and Jars of Clay making a splash at #9 with Christmas Songs. Steven Curtis Chapman’s non-seasonal release This Moment also makes inroads moving from #26 to #5 on the national sales chart. MercyMe leads the way for new releases entering the chart at #11 with All That Is Within Me.
Other notable new releases include Randy Travis at #13, Demon Hunter at #16 and Sea To Sea: The Voice Of Creation at #17.
