Galilee Of the Nations Music, a creative leader in music with a heart for Israel, presents the new CD collection, From the Heavens, by the duo Meha Shamayim (pronounced May-Ha-Sha-Mime), composed artistically of members Roman Wood and veteran industry producer, Leonardo Bella.

The duo’s unusual name comes from the Hebrew words ‘Meha Shamayim’ that translate “from the heavens” and signify the very place from which the Messiah will return to Jerusalem. 

From the Heavens was produced by Leonardo Bella, who serves as one half of the Meha Shamayim performance team as well as the producer of the new messianic collection. An industry veteran, Bella also engineered and performed on the internationally acclaimed album project, Adonai & Elohim, heralded as a major watermark release in the messianic genre.

Artistically, the album blends the creative talents of Wood and Bella in a ‘70’s retro sound with soothing vocal stylings and modern messianic praise and worship overlays. The results heard on From the Heavens is fifteen powerful tracks filled with a unique and timeless quality of music that cuts new roads of innovation in the market. 

Noted Yochanan Ben Yehuda, President of Galilee of the Nations Music, on the new release, “Not since Martin Smith of Delirious? produced ‘Hear O Israel’ in 1999 for Galilee of the Nations, have I heard such pure and innovative sounds and vocal performances. Musically it’s reminiscent of Simon and Garfunkel’s sound on Bookends.”

In support of the new album, Bella and Wood will debut the project at a series of major conference concerts this summer.  Appearances will include the Messiah Conference (MIAA), Messianic Jewish Alliance of America, United Messianic Jewish Congregations (UMJC)  The Road to Jerusalem and The Heart for Israel Conference.

Three of the songs from the new project are also included on the recently released album on Galilee of the Nation, For Zion’s Sake, I Will Not Be Silent. From the Heavens also includes a companion DVD introducing Leonardo Bella and Roman Wood as the creative force behind Meha Shamayim.
