The Comedy Tournament is back! Canada’s award-winning, clean comedian, Leland Klassen, is teaming up once again with World Vision, Blessings Christian Marketplace, Tyndale College, Prairie Bible Institute and YourMusicZone.com to bring you the largest Christian Comedy tour in Canada.

Recognized as Canada’s premier clean comedian, Leland decided early on that he would not compromise his act to go for cheap, easy, shock humour. Using his unique blend of physical comedy and endearing charm Leland’s clever observations and life experiences are brought to life in a one of a kind show. Leland has performed for Promise Keepers Canada, has been to the prestigious Just for Laughs festival in Montreal three times, had his own episode of the U.S. syndicated comedy series Bananas, and had two of his own television series on the West Coast as well as appeared on numerous other programs across the United States and Canada on CBC television, YTV, Star TV, Global and Discovery Kids. And just like his stand-up career Leland was recognized for excellence in the television world as well, receiving the BCAB 2002 Broadcast Performer of Tomorrow award for his comedic work on television.

Local clean comedians are given an opportunity to come out and audition to be an opener for the Leland comedy concert. Leland will mentor and encourage each comedian to develop their craft while they compete for a spot on the next nationally distributed Comedy Tournament compilation CD.
