Legendary Gospel icons The Clark Sisters, Jacky, Twinkie, Karen and Dorinda, follow up the release of their EMI Gospel reunion CD, Live: One Last Time, the group’s first in 13 years, with the Live: One Last Time DVD, now available at Christian retailers across Canada.

Recorded in Nashville at the “W”, the 12 songs include such Clark Sisters classics as You Brought the Sunshine, and Jesus Is A Love Song. The group will hit the road for a 25-city tour starting October 4th in Nashville.

“The Clark Sisters are one of the most important groups in Gospel history,” says EMI Gospel Vice President/General Manager Larry Blackwell. “This DVD, the first-ever released commercially, captures the group at its peak. If you’ve never seen the Sisters live, you are about to witness one of the great live performances in any musical genre.”

The group’s Live: One Last Time CD, recorded in July 2006, before a sell-out crowd in Houston’s George R. Brown Convention Center, was #1 on the Billboard chart and remains #3 in the current issue. The first single from the album, Blessed & Highly Favored, is #1 on Radio & Records’ Gospel radio chart. The new single, Livin’, will impact Gospel radio on July 30th.

In addition, a special limited edition of the Live: One Last Time CD/DVD double disc, combining the two releases, with added value bonus footage, will be available in-stores November 20th only as long as supplies last.

The Clark Sisters, members of the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, were recently honoured along with fellow GRAMMY® winners Dr. Bobby Jones and Michael W. Smith, with the President’s Merit Award at the 2007 Grammy Salute to Gospel event earlier this month at Washington, D.C.’s historic Lincoln Theater.

They have released 16 albums and sold millions as the best-selling female Gospel group in history, raised under the musical and moral tutelage of their pastor father and renowned mother Dr. Mattie Moss Clark, President of the largest African-American Pentecostal denomination in the U.S., a celebrated songwriter, vocalist, pianist and arranger in her own right.
