Internationally known worship leader and songwriter Klaus (Kuehn) will release his new CD, Glory, through Integrity Music on August 5th. The album, which he co-produced, includes guest vocals from Gateway Church’s Kari Jobe.
Klaus recorded Glory live at Christ For The Nations Institute in Dallas, an organization that trains students for international ministry. It was an appropriate location for the recording as both Klaus and Jobe are CFTN alumni.
Glory features a mix of Klaus’ best-known songs with new offerings and keyboard interludes that combine moments of celebratory praise with intimate and spontaneous expressions of worship. In addition to the CD, Integrity has developed worship resources for Glory including CD-Trax, a songbook and transposable CD-ROM digital songbook. All will be available at Canadian Christian retailer beginning August 5th.
Born in Germany, Klaus began taking piano lessons at age five and continued classical and jazz training until age 18. By age 10, he had moved to Canada with his family and later to the U.S. He eventually relocated to Texas where he attended Christ for the Nations Institute and spent several years in music ministry at a church in Plano. Today, Klaus, his wife and three children still call Texas home. In addition to his music ministry (Pure Worship Ministries), Klaus works in real estate and home remodelling. Two of his songs are featured on the best-selling Gateway Church CD Wake Up The World.
Additional information on Klaus and Glory is available at his YMZ artist page. Glory will be one of two premieres appearing on HearItFirst.ca this Friday.
