Kari Jobe And RED Featured On HearItFirst.ca

Publish Date: Feb 06, 2009

This week’s premiers include a worship leader from Gateway Church and the sophomore release from a hard-hitting band.

For over 13 years, Kari Jobe has been involved with worship groups that have ministered around the world. In April 2006, she took a position as a Worship Pastor at Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas, where she serves on a regular basis.

As a singer/songwriter, Kari has written impactful worship songs that congregations nationwide sing each week. Co-writers on this project include Ed Cash, Chris Tomlin, Paul Baloche, Hillsong Church’s Mia Fieldes and Canadian Klaus Kuehn.

The album was produced by Ed Cash, mixed by Reid Shippen, and mastered by the legendary Bob Ludwig.

A CD-ROM songbook also available.

You can also catch Kari leading worship in the trailer for Gateway Worship’s DVD Wake Up The World and Jobe’s EPK in the YMZ Media section. Coming next week, YMZ will be featuring video songs stories from the album as told by Jobe.

Grammy® nominated rock band Red’s second album, Innocence & Instinct, is a primal look into the dark and sometimes seemingly hopeless fight inside each one of us, told through the power of the band’s hard-hitting, intense music. “Innocence” is where we all begin. “Instinct” can quickly take over. A lifetime is spent in this internal tug of war between who we really are and who we hope to be.

Produced by the award-winning Rob Graves, mixed by Ben Grosse (Sevendust, Disturbed, Depeche Mode) and including a song co-written by Benjamin Burnley of Breaking Benjamin, Innocence & Instinct is thoughtful and powerful rock music, with a challenging look at the personal struggle inside each of us.

The Deluxe Edition CD/DVD version includes four bonus tracks, the “Death Of Me” video, behind-the-scenes footage and an extended booklet.

Catch the video for “Death Of Me” video in the YMZ Media section.

Both albums will be available this Tuesday, February 10th at your local Canadian Christian retailer. Keep track of all the new and upcoming releases via your own personal copy of the February New Music Tuesday poster. Head over to HearItFirst.ca to hear these new releases.
