Jump5 stopped by the nationally syndicated radio show Total Axxess last week, to discuss their upcoming album and tour. The group performed an acoustic version of Throw Your Hands Up, backed by Sammy Ward, and also took the opportunity to accept a live on-air Dance Dance Revolution challenge from the show’s host Wally (who was easily defeated). The program airs live weeknights on the WAY-FM Network and other affiliated stations.

Also last week, Radio Disney tested the song Shoot the Moon as part of their “Pick It or Kick It” feature on their Saturday Morning Music Mailbag, and listeners voted an overwhelming 95% in favour of the song. It’s now in regular rotation on the national network, the first singles for Christian radio, will go for adds at CHR and AC/Inspo radio outlets respectively on September 7th.
The group also made a recent stop by the Dallas-area studios of the nationally syndicated Coconut Hut Radio Show, for a interview feature that will run in October.
Jump5’s final studio album, Hello & Goodbye, will be released October 9th by Slanted Records. As previously announced, Jump5’s farewell tour kicks off September 7th, hitting over 30 cities throughout North American through the end of the year. The Hello & Goodbye Tour will also feature performances by Carried Away, Jessie Daniels, pureNRG, Sammy Ward and Cali (select cities only).
Canadian tour dates are being worked on as of press time but stay tuned to YourMusicZone.com as we will bring you updates as soon as they are announced. In the meantime, check out Hello & Goodbye on Jump5’s YMZ artist page.
