Jeremy Camp And Becoming The Archetype Featured On HearItFirst.ca

Publish Date: Nov 14, 2008

This week’s premieres feature an artist who rocks and a band who rocks even harder.

“God, what is the vision you have for me going into this new release and into this new season of my life? I really feel that God impressed on my heart this concept to speak louder than before – a true burden for this generation to communicate the Gospel message. I have always loved the the reminder in my like that “actions speak louder than word,” and how powerful the concept can be when we make the commitment to equipped ourselves with the Gospel (being in the Word of God), by show others we care through our actions and words, and by pouring ourselves into this generation. This is a call to action for me and I hope for you – Speak Up, Speak Now, Speak Loud!”
Jeremy Camp

Speaking Louder Than Before is sure to be one of Fall 2008’s highlights and one of 2008/2009’s biggest releases. Produced by Grammy® and Dove Award winning producer Brown Bannister (Amy Grant, Michael W Smith). The CD unlocks 40 minutes of downloadable “video devotions” where Jeremy will address each song on the album with music and application.

Speaking Louder Than Before Special Edition includes special packaging with lenticular cover image, full CD, DVD including 12 video devotions and behind the scenes making of the album (over one hour of video content), personal journal entries and notes from Camp, and an exclusive sticker.

For their third and most impressive release to date, Becoming The Archetype teamed up with producer and metal legend Devin Townsend (Lamb Of God, Bleeding Through, Soilwork) to create what promises to be one of the year’s most celebrated metal records.

Filled to the brim with innovation and precision, Dichotomy elevates the band to a level of unrivaled musicianship and songwriting. This release also sees the return of original guitarist Jon Star and debut of new drummer Brandon Lopez. Lyrically, the record is somewhat of a concept, giving a nod to C.S. Lewis’ classic Space Odyssey, wherein lyricist and vocalist Jason Wisdom explores the struggle between man and machine, biological and technological.

An instant classic for fans of Opeth, Soilwork, Living Sacrifice, and classic BTA alike, Dichotomy definitely proves the old saying “The third time’s a charm.” Do not miss out on this amazing release.

Both albums will be available on Tuesday, November 25th at your local Canadian Christian retailer. Keep track of all the new and upcoming releases via your own personal copy of the November New Music Tuesday poster. Head over to HearItFirst.ca to hear more from these new releases.
