This week HearItFirst.ca premieres debut releases from two four-piece bands.
Fronted by Jason Ingram, the self-titled debut from The Longing features a potent mix of driving modern rock melodies and worshipful lyrics creating one of the year’s most inspiring new releases. The Longing invites each of us to move closer to the throne of Grace and experience God with a newfound reverence and passion.
With influences ranging from Parliament to Led Zeppelin, from Seal to Sade to Sting to Steely Dan, it’s easy to see why Hyper Static Union don’t want to limit their sound to just one definition. Instead, this four-piece act from Vancouver, Washington crafts it’s own style of pure musical excellence and significant lyrical impact, sure to impress and capture the high school/college crowd.
The Longing’s album will be priced at $18.99 while Hyper Static Union’s will be priced at $14.99 for a limited time at particpating Canadian Christian retailers. Visit HearItFirst.ca to hear audio samples from these debut albums.
