This week’s premieres include the debut of a modern rock band from Georgia and the possible swansong from some rap veterans.
Hailing from Cedartown, Georgia, High Flight Society delivers stunning modern rock crunch with uncompromised anthems of hope and faith in Christ. The band’s self-titled debut will surely emerge as one of the most impressive new Christian rock releases in recent years. The band patiently spent the last two years steadfastly developing their unique sound and building a loyal fan base.
The project was produced by Guardian guitarist Tony Palacios (tobyMac, Sixpence, By The Tree, Audio Adrenaline).
In a world obsessed with reality television shows, one has to wonder, what if you could combine the brilliance of a writer and the wisdom of a director with the seemingly unpredictable passion of real life? What if this whole life was operating under these conditions, with God as the writer/director/star and each of us with a role to play? Could you find your place in HIStory?
Itching to answer that question, The Cross Movement is back with what may be the group’s last album together. Taking their cue from the writer of Hebrews, who tells in chapter 11 about a host of people who faithfully played their role in the story being told by God.
HIStory will be spotlight priced at $17.99 or less for a limited time while High Flight Society will be value priced at $14.99 or less at participating Canadian Christian retailers. Head over to HearItFirst.ca to hear these upcoming releases.
