Revolution Art hip-hop duo GRITS bids television viewers in Edmonton, Alberta a “Beautiful Morning”. The duo performed their Dove Award nominated hit radio single on Citytv’s “Breakfast Television” last Friday (March 6th). GRITS was in town to entertain audiences during half-time at the Edmonton Oil Kings vs. Swift Current Broncos hockey game that evening.
The five-time Dove Award-winning, two-time GRAMMY® nominated rap duo recently received two 2009 GMA Dove Award nominations. GRITS was recognized in the category of Rap/Hip Hop Album for Reiterate (2008), the debut project from its new label Revolution Art. The duo’s current radio single, “Beautiful Morning”, was also nominated for Rap/Hip Hop Recorded Song.
