They are the leading ladies in Christian music today, sharing a wealth of talent, success and fans… and a last name. On Saturday night, December 15th, Natalie Grant and Amy Grant will share the Gospel Music Channel television stage in a night of exclusive new world premiere specials.
Natalie Grant performing at Union Station
GMC’s Grant Girls Night will begin at 9:00 p.m. with the world premiere of Christmas at Union Station: Natalie Grant. The reigning Dove Award Female Artist of the Year performs a delightful hour of traditional and original Christmas music, taped earlier this year at the elegant and festive Union Station Hotel in Nashville. Next at 10:00 p.m., Amy Grant reveals the stories behind her legacy in an intimate and candid Faith & Fame: Amy Grant.
Faith & Fame: Amy Grant, like her recently released Greatest Hits album and her new book Mosaic: Pieces of My Life So Far, presents a genuine and open portrait of Grant, revealing her journey as an artist, as a woman, and as a Christian. Amy movingly and personally tells the story of her life, both on-and-off the stage, discussing her beginnings, her amazing rise as an artist, the inspirations behind her music and how fame both tested and reinforced her life. Family members, managers, producers, friends and collaborators including Michael W. Smith also share stories and insights. The show features three decades of Amy’s most memorable performances, including El-Shaddai, Baby, Baby, Next Time I Fall.
Amy Grant has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, won six Grammy® Awards and 21 Dove Awards and earned millions of loyal fans in a career that started in her teens and has spanned more than 30 years. She is the pioneering Christian singer whose success in the mainstream paved the road for today’s Christian artists.
