God Rocks® Expands TV Exposure

Publish Date: Nov 13, 2007

The award-winning God Rocks® animated children’s videos are now part of Trinity Broadcasting Network’s weekly programming, airing each Saturday at 8:30am PST.

The God Rocks® videos, which were created by Bruce Stacey and are produced by Chelsea Road Productions, have won entertainment awards and critical acclaim for their original music, Scripture songs and state-of-the-art production. Among their most recent accolades include two Covenant Awards from GMA Canada for DVD of the Year (Rock-A-Bye Christmas) and Children’s Song of the Year (The Lord Is My Rock). This is only the latest in a long list that also includes Vibe (Shai), Angel and Telly Awards.

TBN’s Smile Of A Child network also airs God Rocks® Monday-Friday afternoons at 2:30pm PST.

The addition to TBN’s programming schedule marks the second major television in-road for God Rocks®, which has been airing on Daystar Television Network each Saturday at 9:30am CST since last fall.

The God Rocks® videos teach children important life lessons while encouraging them to “sing and learn the Word” by using animated and live characters, fun story-lines and original music drawn from Scripture. The God Rocks® resource line includes: DVDs, CDs and books sold through Integrity Music; church curriculum through Standard Publishing; novelty items through Oriental Trading Company/Fun Express and a Dance Praise Expansion Pack through Digital Praise.

There is also a touring component of the God Rocks® ministry that incorporates multi-media presentations with the animated characters, costumed characters and live musicians who play and sing at churches and events around the world. To date, the God Rocks® tour has performed for over 300,000 children including a recent concert at KidzFest in Alberta, Ontario, which was sponsored by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
