Each year, the Provident Label Group invites the media to a breakfast. This year, the event was held at the Hard Rock Café and we were joined by the folks from retail. It is a great time to hang out with people that we generally interact with via e-mail.
Members of Fireflight, Jars Of Clay, Leeland, Pillar, and Third Day were there together with Matt Maher, Jon Waller, and new Essential Records artists Tal & Acacia. They were all seated at different tables and mingled with us. It was a great way to start the day.
Here are some images from the event [Click images to enlarge]:
Mac Powell from Third Day talks about the upcoming Glory Revealed 2 and shows an EPK of the recording process. This sequel to the Dove Award winning album will be more roots oriented. All the participating artists “disappeared” into the backwoods of Georgia and created some incredible music.
Australian band Revive talks about their journey across the Pacific Ocean and working with Third Day. The very funny EPK of the band is shown. Check it out for yourself in the YMZ Media section.
New Essential Records artists Tal & Acacia perform “ClearView”, a song from their July 14th release Wake Me. The Portland, Maine-based sister duo is currently opening for Superchick on the Hey! Hey! tour.
