GMA Canada Opens Submissions For 29th Annual Covenant Awards

GMA Canada has begun the submission process for the 29th Annual Covenant Awards.

Qualifying Canadian artists, producers and songwriters may submit their works for the 29th Annual Covenant Awards to be given away October 26th in Calgary as part of GMA Canada Week (October 24-26th) at Centre Street Church in Calgary. GMA Canada (associated with GMA in the United States) will be handing out 53 different artist awards in 2007 in a wide variety of categories including Artist Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Male Vocalist Of The Year, Female Vocalist Of The Year, Group Of The Year and New Artists Of The Year. Currently at Canadian Christian retailers is the 28th Annual Covenant Awards CD. specially priced at $9.99 or less, the CD features 14 artists from a wide array of musical styles including Brian Doerksen, Starfield, Downhere, Amanda Falk, Carolyn Arends, Ali Matthews, Jody Cross, Chris Janz, Canada’s Double Portion, Tara Dettman, The Silent, The Joe and Andréanne Lafleur.
