GMA Canada has announced the timelines for the 29th Annual Covenant Awards to be held as part of GMA Week October 24th-26th in Calgary, Alberta.

The submission process for the awards will begin March 1st, 2007 with online registration forms available at www.gmacanada.ca. The 29th Annual Covenant Awards will celebrate the efforts of Canadian Christian artists in a wide range of musical genres covering eligible albums released between May 1st 2006 and June 30th, 2007. GMA Canada is offering an early bird submission that is good from March 1st, 2007 and May 1st, 2007. The deadline for submissions is June 30th, 2007. The Awards will be handed out during ceremonies Friday, October 26th during the Pre-Show Awards dinner at 4:30PM MST and the main awards program at 6:30PM MST. GMA Canada will also be handing out industry awards to Christian Media and Retail on Thursday, October 25th, 2007 during GMA Week at the Industry Awards dinner beginning at 6:00PM MST.
