Ginger Millermon’s New Book Details Son’s Fight for Life

Publish Date: Jan 30, 2008

Singer/songwriter and outspoken Right to Life advocate Ginger Millermon will release her book, Grace Thus Far, in mid-February. The book release coincides with her latest CD entitled Amazed currently available at Christian retailers across Canada.

Millermon was featured the entire month of January on Focus on the Family’s Weekend Magazine radio show, sharing the story of her son Jarrott’s fight for life with Yvette Maher, Vice-President for Sanctity of Human Life for Focus on the Family.

Millermon was told by doctors that her twin son born at 30 weeks would not survive and was given the option of taking him off life support. Ginger and her husband Joel refused. Today, their son is a thriving pre-teen who has amazed his doctors. Ginger is a staunch pro-life advocate, working with organizations such as Vitae and World Vision. Grace Thus Far details the painful years of struggle and sacrifice the Millermons have endured. Carl Landwehr, President of Vitae Caring Foundation says, “Ginger’s story conveys a message of hope and optimism. It compels the reader to never give up on God’s plan. It will further motivate readers to see the value and sanctity of all human life when our society is much too ready to ‘toss aside’ babies who may not be perfect according to society’s standards.”

Millermon’s new CD entitled Amazed has already produced a top six radio single on the national Inspirational chart, as well as landing in Christian Radio Weekly’s top 100 Inspirational Songs of 2007. In addition to being heard on over 800 stations on Focus on the Family’s Weekend Magazine show, Millermon will be a guest March 10th on the Today’s Issues show on the American Family Radio network. Millermon is also set to appear on Lesea and Daystar TV networks, and has received rave reviews of her new CD in magazines such as Plugged In and Christian Retailing.
