The Gaither Homecoming Series vaulted to the top of the February Canadian Christian retail charts with the CD for Canadian Homecoming.

Released simultaneously with the corresponding DVD and VHS, Canadian Homecoming was the best seller during February based on actual music sales at Christian retail stores across Canada. The only other new entry in the Top 10 was the second Gaither title from the Canadian recordings filmed last fall at the Air Canada Center, Gaither Homecoming Tour Live From Toronto, which entered the chart at number 5.

The rest of the top ten included Third Day with Wherever You Are (#2), Chris Tomlin’s Arriving (#3), last month’s chart topper WoW Hits 2006 (#4), The Gaither Vocal Band with Give It Away (#6), Lifesong from Casting Crowns (#7), P.O.D.’s Testify (#8), Casting Crowns’ Casting Crowns (#9) and Hillsong Music with Ultimate Worship Volume 1 (#10).

Canadian artists continue to bring sway to the sales chart with Brian Doerksen posting two albums in the Top 50 with Today (#23 ) and Live In Europe (#25 ). Thousand Foot Krutch’s The Art of Breaking (#35 ), Sea To Sea: I See The Cross (a compilation of 30 Canadian Worship Songs) (#37 ) and Relient K’s Apathetic EP (#43 ).
