Northview Community Church, in conjunction with Christian Marketing Canada (CMC), announces the release of Northview’s recent live album “Hear From Heaven” to Christian bookstores across Canada from June 2005.

“Hear From Heaven” includes many songs by a talented group of upcoming writers, including God Is Our Refuge (featured on the CMC compilation “Sea To Sea”, and Heal Our Land (featured on the upcoming Canada wide Alpha promotional video). As well, there are new versions of favourites such as “God of Wonders” and fellow Abbotsford songwriter Brian Doerksen’s “Hope of the Nations”. A bonus disc is included, featuring many of the songs in French. As the album liner says,

“From this project’s inception, the desire has been to do a truly unique, ‘Canadian’ worship project, one that crosses the linguistic and cultural divide, bringing worship resources to the nation in both national languages.”

Co-produced by Johnny Markin & Harold Wiens, the album was recorded live at Northview, and mixed at Sapphire Sound, whose other notable projects include albums by Maverick recording artists “Dakona”, Stephanie Reddicopp, Canadian Idol finalist Shane Wiebe, and the soundtrack for the Ultimate Gretzky DVD.

“Hear From Heaven” features a talented line-up of worship leaders including Johnny Markin, Stephanie Reddicopp, and Suzanne Thiessen. Proceeds from “Hear From Heaven” have gone towards the ongoing support of missions work.
