One listen – not even to a whole song, just to a verse and chorus, or even a ringtone-length clip will do it. It’ll have you, convince you and leave you hungry to hear and find out more. That’s the way that Electralyte works.

The band’s a new take on an old concept, a step forward that suddenly makes all other bands in the scene appear a decade or two older.
Electralyte are a four-piece British rock band, all Arctic Monkeys angst and Fratellis flair. Those dynamic arrangements and cascading harmonies lead people to describe the band as ‘one of the most inventive, creative, passionate and gifted rock bands to emerge.’
With major festivals already tuned in to the Electralyte news – such as Greenbelt, Spring Harvest, Newday and Roots Festival – you can be sure that this summer will see a rise in the band’s profile. Give it six months and your ‘I heard them first’ rating will go way up.
Having supported Delirious? on their UK Omnisonic Tour in 2007, the band are pumped about releasing their latest album, Scratch Beneath The Surface, this July. Produced by Tom Mills and Steve Harding it takes them in a new direction, turning up the heat on their lyrical precision and musical chops.
