Starfield is currently travelling across their homeland of Canada this fall on a 23-city tour to celebrate the debut of their sophomore release, Beauty In The Broken. Following in line with their passionate vision to reach the next generation, the band invited prolific author and speaker, David Nasser to join them on the tour.

As one of the nation’s forefront speakers and visionaries, God has blessed David with the talent to reach the high tech, attention-lacking culture of Generation Next. Involved in revivals, citywide rallies, camps, and school assemblies, David speaks to over 700,000 people each year. The heart cry of D. David Nasser’s passion to speak truth and freedom into the lives of others stems from his own remarkable story of a life the Lord has rescued and set apart for His glory. In 1979 Iran was embroiled in a bitter revolution. Untold numbers of people were being slaughtered everyday. Gas prices were skyrocketing across the world. Fear and panic gripped the Mid East. Fortunately, in the midst of this horrible turmoil, God was moving. David Nasser, only nine at this time, was forced to escape his native homeland of Iran with his family. They left everything behind but each other, escaping to the United States in hopes of beginning a new life in a vastly different culture. In the years that followed, David felt isolated. He sought acceptance from his peers, turning to everything imaginable to fit in, but always feeling like an outsider. David had escaped from a place where he saw religion destroy people’s lives. He hated religion. Yet, David finally found true acceptance, at the age of eighteen, when through the persistent witness of a body of believers, David received salvation and purpose through a deep and personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
