sixstepsrecords’ David Crowder*Band offers fans a limited edition of its September 2007 release, Remedy, on April 29th. The project continues to gain widespread recognition, garnering four 2008 Dove Award nominations and contributing to David Crowder’s eight nods, tying him with Casting Crowns’ Mark Hall as this year’s lead nominee.
Continuing the excitement surrounding last fall’s Remedy release, which has already sold 130,000+ copies and produced the Top 5 AC single “Everything Glorious,”
This Limited Edition edition includes the original CD song set and a bonus DVD with five videos. The four concert videos were shot in high definition during the “Remedy Club Tour” which boasted 19 sold-out dates and whose “Surely We Can Change Something” campaign collected thousands of towels and socks for local shelters, while encouraging attendees to “be the Remedy” in their local communities. The fifth video included is the Dove Award-nominated Short Form Music Video, “Foreverandever Etc…”, a very cool animated video that can be viewed at YMZ’s Media section.
The band’s first studio recording since A Collision in 2005, Remedy is a continuation of its predecessor, offering ten accessible, pop-centric tracks that dive deep into the theology of worship. In addition to the radio hit “Everything Glorious,” “Never Let Go” is currently vying for adds at Christian AC radio.
Also releasing on April 29th, The Lime CD/Can You Hear Us? Two For One Edition will be available for $17.99 or less at your local Canadian Christian retailer.
One week prior to the Two For One and limited edition’s release, Remedy will contend for Dove Awards in the categories of Rock/Contemporary Recorded Song (“Everything Glorious”), Rock/Contemporary Album, Praise & Worship Album, and Recorded Music Packaging. David Crowder*Band was among the top nominees this year, additionally nominated for Group of The Year and Short Form Music Video (“Foreverandever, Etc…” ).
