Volunteers will come together this Saturday with open hearts and willing hands to bring to light Brandon Heath’s vision of helping a neighbour in need.
On March 2nd, acclaimed singer/songwriter Brandon Heath assembled Nashville’s Christian music community for a free concert benefiting their neighbours in Macon County, TN, hit hard by a tornado on February 5th. The local event raised $18,690.
Along with raising money for the victims, Brandon encouraged the audience to take part in clean up efforts in Lafayette, TN. Over 90 volunteers committed to join in the clean-up efforts and help rebuild the storm-torn area. Tomorrow the volunteers will meet at Fellowship Bible Church in Brentwood, TN before departing for the area which only five weeks ago was hit by a devastating tornado. Jobs may include anything from picking up debris, to rebuilding on a home site.
