The Newsboys, Sanctus Real, Da’ Truth and Starfield are among the musical acts scheduled to appear at CJYC 2006 in Montreal the weekend of May 19th-21st.
Formerly known as Explosion Jeunesse, CJYC is a fully bilingual event is open to youth of all denominations and will also feature speaker Monty Hipp. The main objective of this conference is to contribute to the development of a Christian youth culture and to its growth through preaching, dynamic workshops, concerts, and worship services. The conference will provide young believers the opportunity to get together, to stock up on spiritual resources, and to meet other young Christians.
In 2005, CJYC featured bands such as Detour 180, Hillsong United, Delirious? and speakers Mike Love from YC Alberta and Phil Dooley from Hillsong Church.
