Sydney, Australia’s award-winning modern worship band Hillsong United are coming to the big screen on Wednesday May 21st, 2008 for an advanced screening of their new documentary film The I Heart Revolution: We’re All In This Together. The film will be shown in over 57 Cineplex Entertainment theatres across Canada and will feature the band ministering around the world by capturing their spirit through worship footage from some of their recent concerts in North America, South America, Africa, Europe, Asia, and Australia.

The film is the second part of The I Heart Revolution project, a movement started by the band to inspire the next generation to seek justice in their local communities and gain renewed passion in their worship for God. Joel Houston, Creative Director for Hillsong United, says of the movement, ”... our hope is to stir up a generation both locally and globally to live lives that are sold out for God and His Cause – lives that are committed to being His hands and feet on the planet, and to bringing justice to the hurting and the broken.”

As an interactive feature, Unite Productions will be collecting questions from Canadians for Hillsong United and the band will answer between 15-20 of them in a video message to be shown after the screening of the documentary. Questions for the band may be sent to questions@uniteproductions.com.

Hillsong United officially launched the I Heart Revolution project this past Tuesday with the North American release of With Hearts As One. The CD release is the first part of the three-part action plan for The I Heart Revolution. Both the CD, which captures the “sound” of global worship, and the We’re All In This Together DVD, which captures the “visual”, are aimed at creating awareness for phase three: the development of an online community and social justice hub set to launch in July.
