This week’s premiers feature two new artists who focus on the vertical.
New artist Chris Taylor delivers fresh sounding pop/rock songs, amazing hooks with a worshipful overtone.
The album’s theme deals with redemption and renewal with songs like “Found In You”, “Take Me Anywhere” and “Lift Me Up”.
As an artist, Chris wants “to create an atmosphere for people to meet with God and vice versa.” and for him it’s “not just playing and writing, but leading and allowing people to enjoy the goodness of God, wanting people to be inspired to be what they are called to be. They need to believe.”
With a mission to be not just a band, but a youth movement that can shake generations, rock-infused worshippers Worth Dying For releases their first nationally-distributed project.
The five-member band has been part of Phenomenon Ministries, the youth ministry of Calvary Temple of Modesto, California for almost three years. Now the band is poised to let their songs resonate in the hearts of the young people everywhere.
Fans of Hillsong United, Skillet and Evanescence will be drawn to the guitar-driven rock sound and the fresh lead vocals of Christy Johnson and Sean Loche.
The Worth Dying For Worship Tools will be available on June 24th. It is a complete tool kit for worship leaders, praise teams, college and youth settings.
Get to know Worth Dying For via their video EPK available in the Media section. Also posted are videos of the band talking about the stories behind songs on the album.
Both albums will be available at your local Canadian Christian retailer this coming Tuesday, April 15th. Keep track of all the new and upcoming releases via your own personal copy of the April New Music Tuesday poster. Head over to HearItFirst.ca to hear more from these new releases.
