Casting Crowns’ third studio release The Altar And The Door moves to the top of the Canadian Sales chart according to the latest statistics based on actual sales at Canadian Christian retail outlets.
The Atlanta-based band out distanced a strong new entry with the release of Thousand Foot Krutch’s latest project The Flame In All Of Us. The Ontario rock outfit was one of five new entries in the top ten including new albums by the David Crowder*Band (at #4), Israel And New Breed (#6), Paul Baloche (#7) and Gaither And Friends (#9). Point of Grace also vaulted into the top ten with How You Live moving up from #21 to #5.
Other strong new entries include the second volume of Maximum Worship (Maximum Worship Blue) at #11, Tree63 at #12, Gaither and Friends with How Great Thou Art at #13 and country artist Paul Brandt at #14.
