Casting Crowns Holds Fast To #1

Casting Crowns’s The Altar And The Door remains the #1 album in Canada according to statistics based on actual sales at Christian retail stores across Canada.

The Atlanta-based band released their third studio album in late August and quickly made its debut at #2 on the sales chart. Challengers include the latest WoW Hits album, which enters the Top 50 at #2. Much of the rest of the Top 10 remains the same with the next highest new entry, X2008, coming in at #15, followed by the just released new Christmas project from Michael W. Smith, It’s A Wonderful Christmas at #16. Other new entries include Terry MacAlmon (#18), VeggieTales (#22), Falling Up (#23), Emery (#25) and Steven Curtis Chapman (#26).
